McFarlane Movie Maniacs - Alien Resurrection - Warrior Alien

Part of the Movie Maniacs 6 series from McFarlane, this reproduction of the Warrior Alien from Alien Resurrection is so detailed that it's a wonder it doesn't slither right out of the package to devour its hapless owner. Stretching up to a full 8 inches, the figure is highly posable with swivel joints in its shoulders, elbows, wrists, and ankles, and ball-and-socket joints in its neck, legs, and waist--where its exposed ribcage swivels above an emaciated stomach. Its tail both turns at the base and is malleable along the entire length of each vertebrae. The top of the figure's oblong head is covered in smooth greenish plastic, while the rest of the figure is a rusty rubbery red, with black rubbed into its texture. Gangly appendages sprout from its back, and its mouth plays host to the only bright color--a shock of tiny white teeth. Its hands are grasping plastic claws, ready to tear into a victim. The only real drawback is the odor--a putrid vinyl smell--that jumps from the package when it's first ripped open, although admittedly this rancid scent is oddly fitting.
